MAKING STORY

Cashmere is the iconic texture of magnificence and sophistication. Cashmere products usually would be in high demand because of not only its high quality fibers but also its skilled processing technique. From harvesting the hair on underbelly of Mongolian cashmere goats to knitting, the cashmere production steps are as followed.

MONGOLIAN CASHMERE GOAT

Basically, every cashmere product starts out on a goat. Cashmere is the goat’s soft, and downy part, grown to its maximum length. Cashmere goats we call have been selectively well-bred to produce it in significant amounts. For obtaining it, there are three factors that must be considered as the most important factors for high-quality cashmere; its length, diameter, and the degree of crimping.

CASHMERE FIBERS

Cashmere fibers are gathered through process of combing and shearing of goats during molting season. Fibers are then delivered to factory in China and get washed and cleaned through washing machines eliminating impurities including dirt and coarse outer hairs.

COLORING AND KNITTING

At this point, color pigments and cleaned fibers are transported into coloring machine to be dyed and dried. Next, fibers go through spinning process to convert into threads and the threads get operated on knitting machines to produce cashmere pieces. Knitted cashmere transfer to room where workers utilize machines to make different design products. As the final step of production, thorough examination for possible defect and final quality are scrutinized for the finest result.
